Fragrance Notes
The first impression, and usually the lightest part of the fragrance. These notes evaporate first, which is how a fragrance is built to open.
As well as the top notes fading, your nose adapts to a constant scent and stops registering it, while people nearby still smell it. Smell your wrist after leaving the room, or ask someone close.
The main body of the scent, emerging as the top notes fade. It shapes how the fragrance smells once it settles on skin.

Heavier molecules that evaporate slowly, like woods, musk, amber and oud. They are there from the start, and they are what remains once the rest has faded.

TL;DR
- Citrus-forward opening with a warm, spiced woody base
- Best for: daytime wear, cooler or transitional weather
Inspiration opens on citron, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange, then moves through Tunisian neroli, Nigerian ginger and Ceylon cinnamon into a base of Chinese black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood and olibanum. The citrus stays bright up top; the finish is dry, resinous and woody rather than sweet.
What Does Inspiration Smell Like?
Inspiration opens on citron, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange, a bright, juicy citrus run rather than a single sharp note, with the three citrus fruits layered close enough together that the opening reads full rather than thin. Tunisian neroli softens that opening with a waxy, honeyed floral edge, keeping the citrus from staying purely sharp for long, while Nigerian ginger and Ceylon cinnamon bring warmth and a light peppery bite through the heart, the ginger giving a slightly green, root-like heat and the cinnamon a drier, more powdery spice alongside it. The base moves away from sweetness entirely: Chinese black tea reads dry and slightly tannic, almost leaf-like, ambroxan adds a clean, skin-warm amber facet that lifts the tea rather than sweetening it, guaiac wood brings a smoky, barbecued edge that sits underneath the tea, and olibanum closes with a resinous, slightly incense-like trail that ties the wood and tea together. Together the composition reads as citrus turned serious rather than citrus turned sweet, with the tea and wood keeping the fruit from tipping into cologne territory, and the spice in the heart acting as the hinge between the two halves rather than a note in its own right. It is a fragrance built on contrast — bright fruit against dry, smoky wood — rather than on a single dominant accord, and that contrast is what carries most of its character.
How Does It Develop Through the Day?
The first stretch is dominated by the citrus trio, sharp and cold-pressed, with the neroli adding a soft floral lift almost immediately so the opening never feels one-dimensional. As the top notes settle over the first while, ginger and cinnamon start to warm the composition, giving it a spiced, slightly dry character that bridges the citrus opening and the base rather than sitting as a separate stage of its own. This middle stretch is where the fragrance feels most balanced, with citrus, floral and spice all present at once and none of them dominating outright. Later on, the black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood and olibanum take over, and the fragrance reads noticeably drier and woodier than it did at the start, the resinous olibanum and smoky guaiac wood sitting close to the skin rather than projecting outward. By this final stage almost none of the original citrus brightness remains audible on its own, though its influence lingers as a faint lift over what is otherwise a dry, woody-resinous finish, meaning the fragrance genuinely changes character across the wear rather than simply fading in strength.
Is It for Men or Women?
The notes list leans citrus and spice rather than anything sweet or floral-heavy, and nothing in the composition is written for one gender specifically. No vote data was supplied to weigh in either way. Read as unisex, worn on its own merits rather than filed by aisle.
Who It's For
Inspiration suits anyone who wants a citrus fragrance with more backbone than the usual cologne structure, thanks to the black tea, guaiac wood and olibanum underneath the fruit. It works well as an everyday option for cooler months or air-conditioned spaces, where the drier base has room to show rather than being burned off by heat.
