Fragrance Notes
The first impression, and usually the lightest part of the fragrance. These notes evaporate first, which is how a fragrance is built to open.
As well as the top notes fading, your nose adapts to a constant scent and stops registering it, while people nearby still smell it. Smell your wrist after leaving the room, or ask someone close.
The main body of the scent, emerging as the top notes fade. It shapes how the fragrance smells once it settles on skin.

Heavier molecules that evaporate slowly, like woods, musk, amber and oud. They are there from the start, and they are what remains once the rest has faded.

TL;DR
- Green fruit and citrus opening into a rose-woody heart
- Best for: daily wear, spring and summer
Bloom Theory Prestige opens on bergamot, green apple, lemon and patchouli, moving into a rose, musk and sandalwood heart, then a base of lilac, blackcurrant and amber. The result is crisp and fruity at first, settling into a fresh, amber-warmed floral finish.
What Does Bloom Theory Prestige Smell Like?
Bloom Theory Prestige opens on bergamot, green apple, lemon and patchouli together, an unusual pairing that reads crisp and fruity up top with an early earthy edge from the patchouli rather than a purely sweet start, the green apple and lemon giving the citrus a sharper, more orchard-fruit quality than bergamot alone would. The heart is rose, musk and sandalwood, a classic floral-woody combination where the rose stays fresh rather than jammy, helped along by the clean musk and the smooth, slightly creamy sandalwood, which together keep the rose from tipping into a heavier, more old-fashioned floral. The base brings in lilac, blackcurrant and amber, an unusual trio that adds a soft, slightly fruity-floral sweetness under the woody heart, with the blackcurrant echoing the green fruit from the opening and the lilac adding a powdery floral note distinct from the rose, while the amber holds the composition together and gives it lasting warmth. Taken as a whole, the fragrance moves from a crisp green-fruit opening through a fresh rose-and-wood heart into a soft, amber-warmed fruity-floral base, with the green apple, blackcurrant and lilac forming a quieter secondary thread that runs underneath the more obvious citrus-rose-amber structure, tying the opening and the base together in a way that a simpler three-part structure would not manage.
How Does It Develop Through the Day?
The green apple, lemon and bergamot are sharpest in the opening stretch, with the patchouli giving an early hint of the earthiness to come well before the heart notes are apparent. As the top notes fade, the rose becomes the clearest note, supported by the clean musk and the smooth sandalwood underneath it, and this middle stage is where the fragrance feels most classically floral. Later, the lilac and blackcurrant emerge more clearly against the amber base, softening the composition and giving it a rounder, fruitier finish than the fresh, crisp opening suggested, while the amber keeps it warm rather than letting it turn thin. Taken across the whole wear, the fragrance moves from crisp and green through classically floral into soft and amber-warmed, with each stage building on rather than erasing the one before it, so that traces of the earlier green-fruit character remain faintly present even once the amber base has taken hold. This gradual layering, rather than a single clean handover between stages, is what gives the composition its sense of depth across the wear.
Is It for Men or Women?
The note list moves from green fruit into rose and amber, a shape often marketed toward women, though nothing in the composition itself is exclusive to one gender and no vote data was supplied to weigh in either way. Green fruit, rose and amber all appear widely across fragrances marketed to men, women and everyone in between. It is presented here as unisex.
Who It's For
Bloom Theory Prestige suits anyone after a fresh, fruity-floral fragrance with enough amber and sandalwood underneath to keep it from reading thin. Its crisp green-fruit opening and warm base make it an easy fit for spring and summer wear, and just as workable as a lighter daily option through the rest of the year.
